How are Le Mat’s alternatives produced?
Unlike other alternatives, we do not use de-alcoholised wine. Instead, we recreate the wine experience using an innovative fermentation process based on natural ingredients and fruit juices.
Where are your non-alcoholic alternatives produced?
Our production begins at our facility in Târgu-Mureș, where we create the base of our products. Bottling is done by our partner units in Germany, adhering to the highest standards of quality and hygiene through stringent quality control systems.
What varieties of non-alcoholic alternatives do you have available?
– Garden of Delight: A classic, vintage sparkling white with notes of brioche, butter, and vanilla. It is brut with no added sugar, high acidity, and full-bodied.
– Grit & Grace: A deep-dark rosé sparkling variant with poignant notes of red fruits, cranberry, and cherry. It has a solid body and is very juicy.
Do non-alcoholic wine alternatives have the same nutritional value as those with alcohol?
Our products retain many of the nutritional benefits of traditional wine, such as antioxidants, but with a significantly lower calorie content (10 – 24 kcal per 100 ml) and no alcohol. Additionally, our products contain no added sugar, except for Grit & Grace, which has just one gram of added sugar per 100 ml. Thus, our products are a suitable option for consumers looking to reduce their alcohol and calorie intake.
Can Le Mat be used in cooking?
Yes, our products can be used in cooking just like traditional wines. They add the same depth of flavour and complexity to dishes without adding alcohol.
How should your alternatives be stored?
Le Mat products should be stored in a cool, dark place, similar to traditional wines. The ideal storage temperature is between 6-18°C.
